Osyio,
My how time has flew by since our gathering in June. We ate a lot, we sweated a lot (both in the sweatlodge and out), we prayed with the pipe, we beat the drums, we told stories, we even threw the axe, we made lots of things, we traded lots of stuff, and there was much love shared.
As always, thank you Chief BlueCrow Brother and Little Knife for everything. Most especially thank you for opening your Home to the Free Cherokee.
During the Chiefs Council we took care of a lot of business. We welcomed a new tribe into the Free Cherokee Nation. I hope everyone will welcome the Sweet Potato Clan our newest tribe. The Bird Clan was asked to introduce the Free Cherokee to the Green Corn Dance for next summers gathering (2007). And GrandMother DancingEagle was asked to coordinate all the Medicine Societies.
The BEST news I can report from the summer gathering is that Chief BlueCrow Brother is still kicking high!
I've added more tribe members as well as family members. GreyWolf and PrairieDophin gifted me with my third grandchild. My first girl child. We still haven't done her baby blessing yet, but that is fourth coming.
I see good things happening with the Free Cherokee, we are growing and learning together in love and harmony. It is good! AHO!
Love & Light,
RedArrow
