Gathering Etiquette of the Free Cherokee

  1. Bring your own plates, drinking containers, and eating utensils. We are all walking the red road and this means we will conserve the Earth Mothers resources. Paper plates require cutting down the Standing Ones and styrofoam poisons in the Earth Mother for hundreds of years.

  2. Take your turn in the Kitchen. This means cooking and clean-up. If your cooking, expect someone else to clean-up. If your not cooking, your expected to clean-up.

  3. Your Clan is expected to cook a meal for everyone at the gathering. Please work this out before you come to the gathering and bring/or make arrangements to get the food you intend to cook. Make alternative plans to cook more than one meal if the gathering is small in attendance.
